Regional Training Academy Supervisor
This position provides supervision to a team of professional training staff in the Training Academy. The Supervisor has a goal of building capacity for the Academy to carry out the development, administration, and provision of dynamic, engaging child welfare training for county, tribal, and private agency staff; foster/adoptive/kinship care providers; and other child welfare system stakeholders and professional groups in accordance with best practices standards, state and federal laws, division priorities; and in alignment with the Minnesota Child Welfare Practice Framework and Competencies. They will supervise the Academy's regional training staff located at 4 regional learning centers throughout the state. This position offers a teleworking schedule with 2-3 days working from home and 2-3 days working out of one of the regional offices each week. The Supervisor must live in commuting distance to one of our Regional Learning Centers in Detroit Lakes, Duluth, Marshall, or Owatonna. Closing Date: 4/1/2024
Evaluation and Certification Specialist
This position will conduct evaluation of all facets of the Academy, such as evaluation of curriculum delivery/activities, learner knowledge/skill acquisition, and trainers. This position also contributes expertise to the development, implementation, and evaluation of a statewide certification program. Job ID 360144.

These training positions (Temp/Casual, 0001) are hired through the University of Minnesota (U of M). Job descriptions are linked below:
- Foundations New Worker Training - lead in-person training for new workers (Northwest Minnesota only)
- Qualified Individual (QI) - provide 2-day QI training to support and sustain a diverse and qualified pool of QIs across the state. Trainings will be offered up to six times per year.
