In her last year with Cass County her role was as team leader for the child protection unit. 1. What will you be doing? As the Northwest Regional Trainer, I will be training Foundations and other offerings needed in that region.
  2. What do you enjoy most about your work? I am most excited about being part of this forward movement of improving Child Protection for the children and families being served, the workers that are doing the work, and addressing disparity and disproportionality.
  3. What are you most passionate about professionally? New ideas that bring positive change to child welfare.
  4. What are you most passionate about personally? I have been exploring this with more intentionality, so that I can identify and own my passions with purpose.
  5. What are you surprisingly good at? I recently started refinishing/reimagining furniture and have found that I have a lot of skills and talents in this area. I really wish that I had skills and talents in carpentry as it would really compliment the refinishing/reimagining, but it is definitely not my best thing.
  6. What else should we know about you? I live in Nevis in a home built by my great-grandparents, with my son and daughter and four dogs. I have my own side business refinishing furniture, and enjoy quilting and genealogy.
