As a county supervisor or tribal leader, you may now create your Training Portal account with the Minnesota Child Welfare Training Academy (MNCWTA). If you missed the supervisor email that was sent in December, you can reference it here. Please complete the steps as outlined below.

Visit the Training Portal Log In page here:
  1. Under "New User" select the yellow "Account Request Form" button (once your account has been created you will access the Training Portal by using the “Existing User” button).
  2. Complete and submit your profile request.
  3. Once approved, you will receive an email instructing you to finish setting up your account (during regular business hours this should only take a few hours).

Please Note:

  • Do not use Internet Explorer; all other browsers should be compatible.
  • If you already have a University of Minnesota (UMN) email account (former students or employees), select "Existing User" and enter your UMN account information.
  • If you need to update your email or have forgotten your password, please contact the UMN help desk at help@umn.edu or 612-301-4357.
  • The Training Portal Log In page is always accessible in the top right navigation of our website: www.mnchildwelfaretraining.com.

During the week of January 18, we will contact you with next steps for inviting your workers to create their Training Portal accounts. If you have any questions or issues setting up your account, just let us know at portal@mnchildwelfaretraining.com.

Sincerely,

Minnesota Child Welfare Training Academy (MNCWTA)
